DISCOVERY: On September 15, 2000, high school couple Jennifer and Nathan Leach were rollerblading in New Brighton, Minnesota’s Long Lake Regional Park when they came across a shoe that was still tightly tied. Curious as to why its owner wasn’t around, the pair began walking along a nearby deer path, toward a swampy area near Lake Rush.
DISCOVERY: On May 4, 2004, two hikers were walking along a trail in a wooded area near the I-5 exit in Rancho Bernardino, San Diego County, California, off West Bernardino Drive. During their trek, they came across a green and white duffel bag with leather handles that had been covered with a green winter coat.
DISCOVERY: At approximately 7:30am on October 30, 1996, a maintenance worker discovered the body of an unidentified female floating near Popes Island Marina in New Bedford, Bristol County, Massachusetts. The body was wrapped in two green garbage bags held together with blue masking tape. Also with the body was a white and teal wool blanket,
DISCOVERY: On October 18, 2013, a highway mowing crew working near the westbound entrance ramp for Casey, Clark County, Illinois on I-70 came across the decomposing remains of a deceased female.
