DISCOVERY:
At around 3:13 AM on the morning of May 8, 2006, the burning body of a deceased male was found on the side of Fort Irwin Road in Yermo, San Bernardino, California. The site, a remote desert road, was north of I-15.
AUTOPSY:
According to an examination of the body, John Doe had died hours prior to his body being found. The cause of death was homicide, with 95 percent of his body burned.
DETAILS:
The decedent is described as a White and/or Hispanic male who was between the ages of 25 and 40. He stood at 5’7″ and weighed 140 pounds. Due to the state of the remains, his eye and hair colour couldn’t be discerned.
Another noted feature about John Doe was that two of his teeth – #1 and #16 – weren’t erupted.
Only a small amount of clothing was found on the body: a charred t-shirt and part of a sock on his right foot.

- Mark Allen Johnson, who went missing from San Diego, California, on March 1, 1997.
- Patrick Kevin Taylor, who went missing from Bethalto, Illinois, on February 20, 1986.
- Robert Anthony Spellman, who went missing from Sherman Oaks, California, on April 12, 2005.
- Shaun Wayne Cordova, who went missing from Thornton, California, on March 17, 2006.
