DISAPPEARANCE:

On August 17, 1971, Stella St. Arnault, a member of the Little Red River Cree First Nation of Central and Northern Alberta, got into an argument with a family member. Upset over the interaction, she ran into a nearby wooded area on the John D’Or Prairie Reserve.

The authorities were called after Stella didn’t return home, and while a search of the area was conducted, no evidence as to her whereabouts was found. Over five decades later, the investigation into her disappearance remains open.

DETAILS:

15-year-old Stella St. Arnault was last seen on the John D’Or Prairie Reserve in Alberta, Canada on August 17, 1971. Located in the northern part of the province, the reserve is approximately 549km from Edmonton.

Stella is described as having a dark complexion and a thin build, standing at 5’3″ and weighing 106 pounds. She had long black hair and brown eyes. According to her family, she was last seen wearing either a white and black or a green and white, nylon reversible jacket; a short-sleeved red blouse; white pants; and black shoes.
