DISCOVERY:
On June 7, 1979, the nude body of an unidentified female was found facedown at the edge of a grape vineyard near the intersection of 8th Street and Rochester Street in Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino County, California.
AUTOPSY:
An autopsy was performed on the body, which determined Jane Doe had died at least 24 hours prior to being found. While her cause of death was deemed to be asphyxiation, there was evidence of stabbing and blunt force trauma.
DETAILS:
The deceased is described as a white female between the ages of 15 and 30. She stood at 5’2″ and weighed approximately 100 to 100 pounds. She had shoulder-length light brown hair and brown eyes, and was found wearing green socks and brown leather Lower Quarter Earth shoes.
In terms of dentals, she is noted as having had a slight overbite. Her two upper front teeth slightly overlapped, and there was a mesial fracture on the upper-right incisor.
In January 2009, her body was exhumed to obtain a DNA sample.
