Seat Pleasant John Doe (2007)

DISCOVERY:

On January 30, 2007, the remains of a young man were located in a wooded area toward the rear of Joplin Street in Seat Pleasant, Prince George’s County, Maryland. The site is said to have been near an unnamed residence.

AUTOPSY:

Upon the body being brought in for examination, it was determined the deceased had died just hours before police were called to the scene. His cause of death was deemed to be a homicide, as he had extensive trauma to his upper body.

DETAILS:

The deceased is described as being an African American male between the ages of 17 and 27. He stood between 5’8″ and 5’10” and weighed 160 pounds. He had short, black hair and brown eyes, and he’s said to have had sparse razor stubble on his face.

John Doe was wearing a lot of clothing when found. According to reports, he had three shirts on his body: a black thermal shirt, a black and grey long-sleeved shirt, and a red sweatshirt with “Washington DC” written in blue lettering on the front. He was also wearing two sets of blue jeans that were held up with a black belt, a pair of blue plaid boxer shorts, a red stocking-type hat, a pair of red gloves worn over a pair of black ones, and a black scarf.

He had scattered scars on his knees and another on the right side of his abdomen, near his navel. His left earlobe was pierced.

1) Brandon Wise, who went missing from New Orleans, Louisiana on June 1, 2006.

2) Dedrick Bernard Smith, who went missing from Winston-Salem, North Carolina on October 3, 2006.

3) Jason Ellis, who went missing from Indianapolis, Indiana on December 3, 2006.

4) Labaron Christopher Johnson, who went missing from Riviera Beach, Florida on November 21, 2006.

5) Patrick Dulaney Elmore, who went missing from Columbus, Georgia on September 1, 2006.
